Hi, I’m Alicia Brown — a connector, creative spirit, and founder of The Wick and Wine Experience.

After spending over a decade in advertising, I’ve seen firsthand how burnout and busy schedules can rob us of the simple joy of slowing down. When I was laid off, I rediscovered peace through the flicker of a candle and the ritual of pouring my own. That quiet moment turned into a movement.

The Wick and Wine Experience was born out of a desire to help people reconnect—with themselves, with each other, and with joy. What started as a mobile candle-making experience has become a space for laughter, creativity, and mindful moments. Whether we’re in a corporate boardroom, at a bridal shower, or popping up at your favorite bar, I create experiences that invite you to unwind and be present.

I’m a Chicago native with a deep love for building community, especially for those who’ve ever felt unseen or overwhelmed in professional spaces. Candles gave me a chance to breathe again—and now I’m passing that feeling on.

This is more than just candle-making. It’s a reminder to pause, to play, and to pour into yourself.
